Tour Description
Spend an unforgettable morning at Ixcacao Chocolate, Belize’s original Maya-owned chocolatier followed by a swim in a lush rain forest waterfall.
At Ixcacao Chocolate see cacao growing on the tree and learn about its cultivation. Enjoy Maya style hot chocolate and delicious chocolate samples. During harvest season, sample the ripe cacao fruit itself!After these treats, Henry Cho guides us through the process of making our own chocolate from bean to bar using heirloom stone tools. After enjoying an all you can eat farm to table meal prepared by The Chocolate Queen, (vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options available), we cool off with a relaxing afternoon at a beautiful rain forest waterfall. Swim, play and learn about the surrounding rain forest from your guide. (For a shorter drive time this tour can also be done with Cheil Chocolate).
