Explore the history, origins, culture and flavors of rum across the world at Belize Rumcrafters Distillery Bar. Your Belize Rumcrafters instructor/bartender will take you on a guided tasting of at least 10 different rums and rum-based liqueurs as well as several classic rum-based cocktails. Learn the history and origin of these cocktails and how to fashion them with your favorite rums. Explore 500 years of rum history in the Caribbean, the science and evolution of distilling rum and the art and styles of blending, flavoring and aging fine rums. While this class includes a small, carefully curated selection of Belizean rums, the focus is learning about different styles of rum from many different countries including Belize. This rum class takes place at Belize Rumcrafters Distillery Bar, just south of Placencia airstrip. Directions given upon booking.
